1st shift Powder Coat

A fabrication company in Columbia City is seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined individual with powder coating, industrial painting, or manufacturing experience.

1st shift Powder Coat Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 05:30am to 04:00pm )

Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, hanging, and inspecting surfaces.
Apply powder coating evenly to fabricated metal products using spray equipment.
Adjust powder-coating equipment and settings to achieve proper coverage and finish.
Load and unload parts from racks, hooks, conveyors, and curing ovens. Inspect finished products for proper color, thickness, coverage, and overall quality.
Touch up or rework parts that do not meet quality requirements.
Maintain powder-coating equipment and complete basic troubleshooting as needed.
Package, stack, and move completed parts to the appropriate production area.

1st shift Powder Coat Qualifications:

Powder coating, painting, or manufacturing experience required.
Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with production equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive work for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and a good, stable work history.
Must be available for Friday overtime when required.
