Job Description

Director Consulting Services

Position Description
Join CGI as a Director Consulting Services leader focused on accelerating growth across the New Jersey public sector. This is an entrepreneurial, high impact opportunity for a proven government technology business leader who knows how to turn agency priorities into qualified opportunities, shape complex pursuits, build winning teams, and grow long term client relationships.
The ideal candidate brings deep New Jersey government experience and a strong network of executive, business, technology, procurement, and partner relationships. This leader will operate across the full business development and pursuit lifecycle — from early opportunity identification and market shaping through RFI/RFQ/RFP development, capture, solution strategy, pricing, proposal, orals, negotiation, award, and transition into delivery.
This role is designed for someone who enjoys developing complex deals, creating strategic partnerships, and bringing together consulting, technology, delivery, and external alliance partners to develop differentiated solutions.
The successful candidate will help influence market strategy, expand CGI's footprint, develop new and existing accounts, build a strong qualified pipeline, and position CGI as a trusted strategic partner to New Jersey government organizations.
This is an opportunity for a growth-oriented leader who can operate comfortably at both the executive relationship level and the detailed pursuit level — someone who can identify an opportunity early, develop the strategy to win it, assemble the right team, and drive the opportunity through award and successful delivery.

This role can be performed from CGI's New Brunswick, NJ office.

Build Executive Relationships: Develop trusted relationships with NJ government C level, business, technology and procurement leaders.

Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships: Build and deepen alliances, teaming relationships and subcontractor strategies with technology providers, OEMs and specialized partners to strengthen solutions and increase win probability.
Manage Pipeline & Forecast: Maintain a qualified pipeline, disciplined opportunity management and accurate forecasting, with visibility into risks, next actions and expected outcomes.
Convert Wins into Growth: Partner with delivery leadership through award, transition, client satisfaction and expansion, identifying follow on opportunities.
Shape the NJ Market: Bring thought leadership, market intelligence and CGI capabilities together to identify emerging agency priorities and create new opportunities
