Job Description

Peregrine Team is seeking an experienced  Plumbing Dispatcher for an opportunity in  San Diego, CA . The ideal candidate will have previous dispatch experience in the plumbing, construction, or property services industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment coordinating service calls, scheduling technicians, and delivering exceptional customer service.

 

Location: Fully on-site in San Diego, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (subject to change based on operational needs, including a Sunday-Thursday schedule)

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability, urgency, and job requirements.
• Monitor work orders and update job status throughout the day.
• Communicate job details, changes, and follow-up needs to field staff and customers.
• Coordinate return trips, emergency calls, and priority service request.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, schedules, and completed work.
• Support the office team with dispatch-related administrative tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and help resolve scheduling concerns efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatch, scheduling, customer service, or office coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry.
• Professional phone etiquette and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the San Diego area is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Previous experience dispatching field technicians or coordinating service calls.
• Experience in plumbing, construction, or property services.
• Familiarity with work order management systems or scheduling software.
