Role Summary:
U.S. environmental regulatory compliance and waste disposal management specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire and maintain permits for air emissions, water pollution, and hazardous substances under US EPA and Ohio EPA regulations.
Lead hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage, removal, and disposal processes.
Develop emergency response plans for chemical spills and manage spill response inventory.
Guide field inspections during unannounced audits by state and federal EPA authorities; maintain environmental emission data records.
Qualifications:
Practical experience with U.S. environmental regulations (understanding and operational experience with RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, DOT Hazmat in U.S. manufacturing plants).
Operational and response experience with RCRA / Ohio EPA Hazardous Waste Generator Rules.
4+ years of environmental management experience in manufacturing.
