Part-Time Childcare Opener – Job Description Job Title: Part-Time Childcare Opener Job Summary:We are seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Part-Time Childcare Opener to prepare our childcare center for the day and provide a safe, welcoming environment for children and families during morning drop-off. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is available during early morning hours. Responsibilities:

• Open the childcare center and complete daily opening procedures.
• Greet children and families warmly during morning arrival.
• Supervise children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Set up classrooms and prepare learning materials and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Assist with breakfast or morning snacks, if applicable.
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Support teachers and other staff as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children.

• Part-time
• Early morning hours (example: 6:30 a.m. – 12:30 pm )
• Monday through Friday (or as scheduled)
