Purpose of Position:  

Assist the Project Manager or Operations Manager, on one or more projects, with the day-to-day administrative operations of a project. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform administrative support duties and process documentation as required 

• Set-up and maintain all project filing systems, including archiving project records 

• Assist in getting Contract Agreements secured and processed. 

• Provide support to Operations Manager / Division Manager and Project Management including, but not limited to, estimating logs, billing logs, cost projection accumulation and scheduling and normal day-to-day activities. 

• Generate and distribute available Logs and Reports 

• Assist in Subcontracted Agreement preparation and processing. 

• Assist with submittal review, processing and approvals, including set-up and maintenance of Submittal Logs and Reports. 

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with all customers, external and internal. 

• Assist in preparation, processing and submittal of all project closeout documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.  

Accountability: 

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

• RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, site specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens. Hazard Identification and Report, and OSHA 10.  

Minimum Physical Requirements:  

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment. 

• Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel. 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. 

Qualifications: 

• Receives direct supervision 

• Performs administrative or technical responsibilities 

• Objective based on established guidelines, process and operating procedures 

• Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes. 

• Work is generally structured or recurring 

• Relevant past experience is not necessarily required. 

• Entry-level, non-exempt positions.
