Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Type: Direct Hire

Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and achieve profit targets by identifying new opportunities and developing business with existing customers
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and support high sales conversion rates
• Generate profitable new business through market data utilization, prospecting, and resource orchestration
• Identify key decision-makers in targeted organizations; use every opportunity to cross-sell and upsell services
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new customers via multiple channels
• Lead or support customer/site visits and company presentations to strengthen relationships and support negotiations from quotation to delivery
• Interpret customer engineering requirements, survey sites, and create inquiry data
• Maintain technical competence, industry knowledge, and awareness of regulatory issues impacting customers
• Report sales performance and prospects to the Location Manager
• Ensure timely updates in internal customer relationship systems and efficient handover to Operations
• Support customer service during and after contracts; participate in “Lessons Learned” sessions
• Adhere to company processes, HR procedures, and health and safety standards
• Maintain a professional image and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Solid sales or contract management experience in the production equipment installation environment
• Proven success in identifying and closing new business in a service-oriented industry
• Active knowledge of mechanical/installation engineering projects and processes
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Experience negotiating with clients and vendors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems
• Experience in machinery relocation/installation industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good research, prospecting, and client interaction skills
• Effective communicator and active listener with problem prevention capabilities
• Strong time management, judgment, and business sense
• Initiative-driven and team-oriented professional demeanor
